Sex Trafficking Is Real

I've been wanting to use my photography to spread God's love for a while and I was not sure how He wanted me to do that. I prayed for a while and he told me to use it to encourage women and young girls to be more confident in the beautiful body that He created for them. I prayed some more and He told me that I needed to use my skill to raise money for something. I wasn't sure what that was for a few weeks and then today God gave me an organization. I'm going to be raising money to help support Doors To Freedom which helps women who are survivors of sex trafficking.

I'm going to offer mini sessions which will only be 15-30 minutes long. I'm not looking to make a profit form this but I am asking for a minimum of $15 donation. Once I get $200 of donations I will give it to Doors To Freedom. They use the donations to help house, feed, and get medical and mental attention for the women.

Many people do not realize that sex trafficking exist in the US, let alone South Carolina. They think that all prostitutes are doing this willingly but that is not always the case. Many of them are too afraid to leave or to speak up to police because they think they will be put into prison. North Charleston is one of the cities in South Carolina that is having a large problem with sex trafficking.

I'm hoping to gain experience and to build my portfolio through this so you are not only helping a cause, but you are helping a friend gain experience. PLEASE think more about the women who are in need. I will not be pocketing any of this money. I'm hoping to raise the $200 by the end of the semester and will do it again over the summer. I pray that God will provide well over $200 and that I will also bring awareness to this problem with these photoshoots!

I'm excited to gain more experience and build my confidence. I'm even MORE excited to be raising awareness. Please help me raise money to give these women a life again and to help protect the many more that have managed to escape and are looking for safety.
